Grow-your-own-ability
Fancy growing your own? This is how easy we think it is out of 5 seeds. The more seeds, the easier it could be to pick them from your own garden!
Care Tips
Leeks are members of the onion family and a very valuable crop in the garden. The first of the leeks will be ready to harvest just as the onion crops are finishing for the year and they will crop all the way through until the first of the new years onions are ready to harvest. Leeks will need a deep well-drained soil that is enriched with manure or well-rotted manure. They should not be grown in the same location that onions, shallots or garlic have been grown in the past 2 seasons.
Varieties
Apollo, Giant Winter, Hannibal, Jolant
